The Daily News was blended by our friend Z at Córdoba & Morales — it started life as his event cigar. Z would set up at events and roll right in front of customers, and that cigar he was rolling was something special.
We noticed. So we did what any good regulars would do: we pestered him. Relentlessly. For a while. Until he finally gave in and agreed to start selling it to us at Jimmy's.
That's when word got out. Now the Daily News is carried in shops all over the country — and we couldn't be prouder of Z for what he built. We're just glad we were annoying enough to make it happen. We keep the freshest stock right here, where it first hit a shelf.
